About Us
RISE. RECOVER. REBUILD.
At Rise Again Recovery Homes, we are men in long-term recovery who have lived in sober homes all across the country—and we kept seeing the same problem. Too often, sober living meant paying rent, staying in your room, and barely interacting with the people around you. That isolation can slowly pull people away from connection and purpose, and it’s something we’ve seen lead back to relapse time and time again. We knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we created something different: a true brotherhood. Our homes are built around fellowship, shared responsibility, and an active life in recovery—Sunday dinners together, service work, snowboarding in Salt Lake City, rock climbing, and staying physically and mentally engaged. Here, sobriety isn’t just maintained; it’s lived, together.

Our Story
We’re two friends whose paths crossed through recovery, but our journeys took us far beyond one place. Over the years, we lived in sober living homes across the United States. Different cities. Different houses. Different faces. Yet somehow, the experience was always the same.
People paid rent.
People existed.
And too often, people relapsed.
Most sober livings we encountered focused on rules and roofs—but not on connection, purpose, or growth. Residents lived side by side, yet alone. There was little accountability beyond curfews, and little inspiration beyond “don’t mess up.” We knew recovery had to be more than just staying clean inside four walls.
We believed it could be better.
Recovery, for us, was never meant to be passive. It was meant to be lived—together.
That belief became the foundation of Rise Again Recovery Homes.
We set out to create something different: a true brotherhood. A place where men don’t just coexist, but actively recover together. Where accountability is built through relationships. Where growth happens through action. Where sobriety is supported by purpose.
At Rise Again, we stay active in recovery. We train together, hike together, attend meetings together, serve together, and push each other to become better men. We take advantage of everything the Salt Lake City area has to offer—outdoor activities, community events, and opportunities to give back. Recovery doesn’t stop at the front door of the house; it shows up in how we live every day.
Giving back is a core part of who we are. We believe healing happens fastest when you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Service, community involvement, and shared responsibility help turn recovery into a lifestyle—not a phase.
Rise Again was born from lived experience, hard lessons, and the conviction that men in recovery deserve more than just a bed. They deserve structure, brotherhood, purpose, and the chance to rise—again and again.
This isn’t just sober living.
This is a community.
This is accountability.
This is recovery in motion.
Welcome to Rise Again Recovery Homes.
